Lee Strassell

Lee first started working with iron in farrier school in 1985. Learning basic blacksmithing skills was crucial in creating and designing therapeutic shoes for horses. Early in his horseshoeing career he became a certified journeymen farrier, but was always intrigued by creating and designing iron-art. His career took a major turn in 1995 when he earned his degree in mathematics. For over 25 years he was blessed by teaching high school mathematics at Madison Consolidated High School in Madison, Indiana. His love for mathematics certainly has had a major influence on his current work.
